Bayswater to welcome new Screwfix store
Leading trade retailer, Screwfix is set to open its first store in Bayswater on Thursday 10th May at 107 Queensway, W2 4SJ. The new branch will create 13 new jobs in the area and will help local tradespeople get what they need as quickly as possible to get the job done.
Screwfix’s new Bayswater Store Manager, Chelsey Tverdon is proud of the contributions the new store has made to employment figures in the region: “We’ve created 13 new jobs and employed people from around the Bayswater area. Throughout the store’s launch celebration period from Thursday 10th May and through the weekend until Sunday 13th May, Screwfix will offer a 10% discount on all product ranges.
Chelsey believes the store’s convenient location, extensive product range and ability to provide a Click & Collect service in as little as one minute from ordering, will be a real bonus to local tradespeople and DIY enthusiasts who need to get back to their jobs. Plus, the new store format is designed to increase convenience with more till points, an ‘L’-shaped counter and digital browsers.
