Bobath Children’s Therapy Centre Wales gets a helping hand from The Screwfix Foundation

  • Screwfix Foundation donates £5,000 to Bobath Children’s Therapy Centre Wales
  • Much-needed funding used for the refurbishment of their new centre
  • Since launch in 2013, the Screwfix Foundation has donated over £4m

 Bobath Children’s Therapy Centre Wales, based in Cardiff is celebrating after being awarded £5,000 worth of funding from The Screwfix Foundation, a charity which supports projects to fix, repair, maintain and improve properties and facilities for those in need.

Rachel Morgan, Head of Income Generation at Bobath Wales comments: “We are very grateful to The Screwfix Foundation for donating these much-needed funds to support our charity. Bobath Wales is a registered charity whose mission is to improve the quality of life of children across Wales who have cerebral palsy. The funding will be used towards the refurbishment of their exciting new Therapy Centre. We’d like to thank everyone who was involved in the fundraising – it’s been a great help to us.”

The Screwfix Foundation, which launched in April 2013 donates much needed funding to help a variety of local projects throughout the UK, from repairing buildings and improving community facilities, to improving the homes of people living with sickness or disability.

It also works closely with Macmillan Cancer Support, as well as supporting smaller, local registered charities like Bobath Wales.
