Ennis Celebrates New Screwfix Store Opening

The leading trade retailer opened its doors in Clonroadmore Industrial Estate today with eager customers ready to stock up on the latest tools and trade essentials.

The Screwfix store in Ennis has created 12 new jobs in the area across retail management, service assistants and supervisor roles as part of the company’s expansion into Ireland. As part of these plans, there is the potential for the business to open up to 40 stores over the coming years, creating over 400 employment opportunities in Ireland.

Open Monday to Friday (07.00 to 20.00), Saturday (07.00 to 18.00) and Sunday (10.00 to 18.00), the store provides a convenient Click & Collect service that is available at all Screwfix locations nationwide. Using this service, customers can order their goods online and pick them up from a store in as little as one minute.

Speaking about the official opening, Screwfix Store Manager, Kieran McManus, said; “We chose to open a new store in Ennis to better meet the needs of the local tradespeople.
