Ilminster Celebrates New Screwfix Store Opening
Screwfix is celebrating the successful launch of its most recent store opening in Harts Close, Somerset TA19 9DJ. The store officially opened its doors on 7th February with hundreds of eager customers ready to stock up on the latest tools and trade essentials.
The Ilminster Screwfix store is part of the company’s growing network of over 620 stores nationwide, meaning 97% of the UK population are within a 30-minute drive of a store. Open seven days a week from 7am Monday to Friday, the store also provides a convenient, Click & Collect service that is available at all Screwfix locations. Using this service, customers can order their goods online or over the phone and pick them up from a store in as little as one minute.
Screwfix’s Ilminster Store Manager, Dale Smith, said: “We chose to open a new store in Ilminster to better meet the needs of the local tradespeople. Many of our new customers previously shopped with Screwfix at our Yeovil or Honiton stores, so we’re delighted to bring Screwfix even closer to them for greater convenience.
“Our celebration period, which ran from Thursday 7th February, throughout the weekend, until Sunday 10th February, attracted hundreds of customers. We have received fantastic support from the local communit and are looking forward to welcoming and helping more tradespeople and serious DIYers over the coming months.”
