Rustington’s first Screwfix store to open on 6 August

Multi-channel trade retailer Screwfix is to officially open its first store in Rustington on 6 August on Rustington Trading Estate. The new branch will create an additional 16 jobs and is part of the company’s ongoing expansion plans.

Screwfix’s new Rustington Store Manager, Ben George is proud of the contribution the new store has made to employment figures in the region. “We’ve created 16 brand new vacancies and have employed local people from around the Rustington area. Our new team includes people of all ages and levels of experience, but the most important requirement is that they have the right attitude and can offer superb customer service. Everyone here is really looking forward to the store opening.”

Tradesmen and DIYers are all invited to attend the Rustington Screwfix opening at Rustington Trading Estate where they can also demonstrate their professional skills in a free-to-enter screw drilling competition. The fastest time wins a 40in Toshiba smart TV.

Throughout the store’s launch celebration period from 6 August and through the weekend until 9 August all product ranges will carry a 10% discount among other store specific special offers.

Leading power tool manufacturers DeWalt & Hitachi, will be at the store on Rustington Trading Estate, demonstrating a range of products from the Screwfix catalogue.

Ben believes that the store’s convenient location and the ability to provide a Click and Collect service within just five minutes of ordering will be a real bonus to local tradesmen and DIY enthusiasts.
