Screwfix store officially opens in Redcar
The Screwfix branch in Redcar, which opened in 2017 has created thirteen new jobs in the area and has helped local tradespeople get what they need as quickly as possible to get the job done.
Screwfix’s new Redcar Store Manager, Scott McDonald is proud of the contributions the new store has made to employment figures in the region: “We’ve created thirteen new jobs and employed people from around the Redcar area. Our new team includes people with all different levels of experience, focused on providing superb customer service to meet the needs of our busy trade customers.
Tradespeople and serious DIYers are all invited to attend the official opening event and can demonstrate their professional skills in a free-to-enter competition. The winner will receive a 40in smart TV.
Throughout the store’s launch celebration period from Thursday 1st February and through the weekend until Sunday 4th February 2018, Screwfix will offer a 10% discount on all product ranges among other store specific special offers.
Scott believes the store’s convenient location, extensive product range and ability to provide a Click & Collect service in as little as one minute from ordering, will be a real bonus to local tradespeople and DIY enthusiasts who need to get back to their jobs.
