Screwfix store wins prestigious award

The Screwfix team at the Coventry-Willenhall store are celebrating after scooping the company’s highest accolade, being named the Screwfix Store of the Year 2017. Beating off competition from over 530 Screwfix stores up and down the country, the Coventry-Willenhall store progressed successfully through both rounds of the contest to take the coveted title.

Scott Parsons, Screwfix’s Operations and Property Director, visited the Coventry-Willenhall store during the competition and was overwhelmed by the way the staff go over and above to look after their customers. He commented: ‘This competition is all about recognising the stores that deliver exceptional customer service, which is achieved through a solid team and a great worth ethic. The Coventry-Willenhall store staff are a fantastic team with a clear vision of delivering the best possible customer service, nothing is too much trouble.

“The store not only met all the criteria in terms of delivering great customer service, but also showed outstanding store presentation throughout the year. We see such enthusiasm and dedication in all 533 of our stores, but Coventry-Willenhall really have gone above and beyond and we’re delighted to name Coventry-Willenhall, Screwfix Store of the Year.”
