Wolverhampton’s second Screwfix store to open in August
Multi-channel trade retailer Screwfix is to officially open its second store in Wolverhampton on Thursday 4th August at Wulfrun Trading Estate. The new branch is building on the success of Wolverhampton’s store on Key Industrial Park. The new Wolverhampton – Dunstall Hill store will create an additional 15 jobs and is part of the company’s ongoing expansion plans.
Screwfix’s new Wolverhampton – Dunstall Hill Store Manager, Scot Shaw is proud of the contribution the new store has made to local employment figures in the area. “We’ve created 15 brand new vacancies and have employed local people from around the Wolverhampton area. Our new team includes people of all ages and levels of experience, but the most important requirement is that they have the right attitude and can offer superb customer service. Everyone here is really looking forward to the store opening.”
Tradesmen and DIYers are all invited to attend the new Screwfix store opening at Wulfrun Trading Estate, where they can also demonstrate their professional skills in a free-to-enter screw drilling competition. The fastest time wins a 40in smart TV.
Throughout the store’s launch celebration period from Thursday 4th August and into the weekend until Sunday 7th August all product ranges within the Wolverhampton – Dunstall Hill store will carry a 10% discount and leading power tool manufacturers Dewalt and Hitachi, will be at the store on Surrey Canal Trade Park, demonstrating a range of products from the Screwfix catalogue.
Scot believes that the store’s convenient location and the ability to provide a Click and Collect service within just five minutes of ordering will be a real bonus to local tradesmen.
