Ystradgynlais Mind gets a helping hand from the Screwfix Foundation
Ystradgynlais Mind, based in Powys, is celebrating after receiving £4,200 worth of funding from The Screwfix Foundation, the Screwfix charity which supports not for profit organisations in need across the UK to fix, repair, maintain and improve properties and facilities.
At Ystradgynlais Mind, people are committed every day to guarantee advice, support, and education/training to anyone in need, from teenagers to older people, and this includes buildings tailored to properly welcome them.
Carol Stephens, CEO at Ystradgynlais Mind, comments: “We are very grateful to The Screwfix Foundation for believing in our project. Our wellbeing centre really needed to be refurbished to ensure it’s suitable for everyone. The £ 4,200 of funds that the Screwfix Foundation has donated to us has been invaluable in making our dream come true”.

Set up in 2013 after recognising the need to give back, The Screwfix Foundation has raised a staggering £10m for good causes and helped over 2100 local registered charities and not for profit organisations across the UK, with refurbishments and building improvements.
