Carmarthen’s first Screwfix store to open on 5th November
Multi-channel trade retailer Screwfix is to officially open its first store in Carmarthen on 5th November on BMA Tradepark. The new branch will create an additional 12 jobs and is part of the company’s ongoing expansion plans.
Screwfix’s new Carmarthen Store Manager, Paul Jones is proud of the contribution the new store has made to employment figures in the region. “We’ve created 12 brand new vacancies and have employed local people from around the Carmarthen area. Our new team includes people of all ages and levels of experience, but the most important requirement is that they have the right attitude and can offer superb customer service. Everyone here is really looking forward to the store opening.”
Tradesmen and DIYers are all invited to attend the Carmarthen Screwfix opening at BMA Trade Park, where they can also demonstrate their professional skills in a free-to-enter screw drilling competition. The fastest time wins a 40in smart TV.
Throughout the store’s launch celebration period from Thursday 5th November and through the weekend until Sunday 8th November, all product ranges will carry a 10% discount among other store specific special offers.
Paul believes that the store’s convenient location and the ability to provide a Click and Collect service within just five minutes of ordering will be a real bonus to local tradesmen and DIY enthusiasts.
