HEATING ENGINEER FROM NORWICH IS A SCREWFIX TOP TRADESPERSON FINALIST!
Anthony Sanders, a heating engineer from Norwich, has reached the final of Screwfix Top Tradesperson 2023.- Anthony will compete against nine other tradespeople from across the UK at the national final this month, with the aim of winning the coveted title and the ultimate £20,000 trade bundle.
Anthony Sanders, a skilled heating engineer from Norwich, is one step closer to being crowned Screwfix Top Tradesperson 2023, after reaching the final of the national award, along with nine other tradespeople.
Anthony, 47, has 18 years of experience in the trade and impressed judges during the semi-final stage with the ways he not only champions inclusivity within the trade, but also his drive for sustainability which sees him plant trees for each boiler he installs.
Screwfix Top Tradesperson attracted more than 1,000 applications this year, with just 10 making the final stage. The final will take place at Screwfix LIVE on Friday 22 September, where Anthony will have the chance to highlight his professionalism, dedication and commitment to the trade in front of a panel of industry experts.
The panel includes representatives from the Chartered Institute of Plumbing and Heating Engineering (CIPHE), the National Inspection Council for Electrical Installation Contracting (NICEIC), and Screwfix Top Tradesperson 2022 champion, Toby Peacock.
Only one tradesperson will be crowned Screwfix Top Tradesperson and receive the ultimate trade bundle of tech, tools and training worth £20,0000, while earning themselves a spot in the Screwfix Top Tradesperson Hall of Fame.
Anthony, who owns Smart Heating EA Ltd, said: “I’m really proud to have made it to the final of this coveted award. I’ve always believed in supporting others, and training apprentices is a side of my job I’ve always found rewarding., I’m hoping other people out there will see my journey and feel inspired to consider a career in the trade too. To be crowned Screwfix Top Tradesperson would be a dream come true!”
